Aila Browser Extension — Privacy Policy

The Aila call capture extension is for mortgage professionals who use Aila. It captures borrower calls made in supported browser dialers and syncs Follow Up Boss call recordings so Aila can transcribe, summarize, and organize the conversation in the customer's mortgage workflow. What the extension processes

• Call audio you choose to capture. When you click "Turn on call capture" on a supported dialer tab, the extension records that tab's audio — and your microphone, only if you have granted it — for the duration of detected calls. The audio is uploaded to your organization's Aila workspace for transcription and analysis. Nothing is recorded before you arm a tab, and arming ends when the tab closes or you turn it off.
• Follow Up Boss call recordings. If your organization has enabled Follow Up Boss ingestion, the extension downloads call recordings that your signed-in Follow Up Boss account can already access and uploads them to your Aila workspace. It never sees your Follow Up Boss password. To locate the correct recording it processes the Aila and Follow Up Boss call identifiers and your account's Follow Up Boss origin.
• Dialer page content, read locally. On supported dialer sites only, the extension reads on-page text to detect when a call starts and ends. That page content is not stored or transmitted; only the detected call state, dialer provider, dialed phone number, and dialer site origin accompany a recording.
• Your Aila session. Connecting the extension stores Aila access and refresh tokens, organization ID, and extension device ID in extension storage on your device. They authenticate recording uploads and retrieve your organization's FUB import queue.

What it does not do

• No collection of general browsing history or activity on other sites. It runs only on the supported dialer, Follow Up Boss, recording-media, and Aila domains listed in its permissions.
• No advertising, no analytics resale, and no sale of personal data.
• No recording without the explicit per-tab arm action, and no microphone use without your browser-level grant.

Where the data goes

Recordings upload directly to Aila's object storage and are scoped to your organization's workspace, where they are processed for transcription, summaries, borrower-file organization, and other customer-requested mortgage workflow features under the Aila Privacy Policy and your organization's agreement with Aila, including the subprocessors listed there. Recordings can be deleted from your Aila workspace at any time.

Call recording laws

Customers are responsible for complying with applicable call recording and consent laws (including one-party / all-party consent requirements) when capturing calls with the extension.
